Various reasons for female infertility

Infertility remains an issue that nearly 11% of all couples will experience during reproductive part of their lives. To get a proper understanding regarding some of the causes of female fertility might be helpful for them as they may help them to deal with their situation.

A fertility specialist should always be discussed with when females attain the age of 35 or over. This is applicable to all those of the similar age group who have not been achieved pregnancy even after 6 months. Younger women who have not achieved pregnancy after one year of regular effort should seek assistance from a professional.

In female, infertility causes due to many reasons. Some of them are:-

1) Cervical disorders, 2) Endometriosis, 3) Hormonal disorders, 4) Ovulation Failure, 5) Tubal disease or destruction and 6) Uterine disorders.

While delving to the detail of each item:-

1) Cervical disorder - This mainly worries inadequate cervical mucous (CM). The mucous is a crucial part of conception since because the sperms get nourished by the CM and transported as well, afterward.

2) Endometriosis - This disease can cause injury all over the female body. It remains a key factor of infertility since it can get attached to the ovaries and to the fallopian tubes. After getting attached it grows and can hinder the ovaries or the tubes.

3) Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS – this is a hormonal disorder that can influence a woman's capability to conceive. Women who suffer from PCOS produce a surplus amount of a male hormone called "androgens" such as "testosterone" in their ovaries. In many cases they have small cysts, which are filled by fluid on their ovaries.
